Barre Dentistry & Implants

I had my first visit at Barre Dentistry & Implants yesterday. Normally I suffer from severe anxiety going to the dentist. However, for the first time in my life I had an extremely excellent experience. The staff were incredible and helpful. They made the visit so easy. They took care of all my insurance info and did a thorough consultation. The ladies up front were kind and welcoming and made it feel like a relaxing environment. My new dentist took time to review every x-ray and spoke slowly and explained the best treatment plan for me. Maddy, the dental assistant made me feel very relaxed and was very personable and friendly. The hygienist did an excellent job on cleaning my teeth and it was the first scraping and cleaning that didn’t hurt and she explained everything before she did it. T

I have been going to Barre Dentistry and Implants since 2005 when the practice was owned by Dr. Venmar. It takes while to build up the patient/ dentist relationship and trust, so I was hesitant when the practice was sold a few years ago. A year an a half ago I ended up with an issue with a tooth. I saw one dentist in the practice who advised me to have the tooth pulled and then have a bridge placed. I scheduled the appointment for the extraction only to see a different dentist who would not remove my tooth due to some health issues I had and seemed very hesitant about how he should proceed. He did some additional work to the tooth which was not my best dental visit. He was not a good match for me. Last summer I saw Dr. Syed the owner of the practice. Best dental cleaning I have ever had. Hygienist was very thorough, patient, and skilled. Talked me through x-rays, made adjustments for my needs (i have a strong gag reflex), and was gentle and efficient when cleaning my teeth. The intake forms were thorough and yet easy to fill out. The Do ctor was calm, friendly, and focused despite having a busy day. The whole team in there seems to work together really well, even when technology was glitching. Really good vibes.

They got me in very quickly and the staff are super friendly. The desk staff are awesome and greet you by your name when you walk in. Tammy did a great job with my sealant, and was very enjoyable to chat with.

They took care of an emergency broken filling immediately. Everyone is super nice. Very authentic Vermont office!!
