Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute-Little Rock

First off I would like to say that Dr. Davila and the therapists downstairs are wonderful and caring. They do their best to make sure the pts are able to do as much as possible before they go home. On the floor is much different. Very little PT/OT/ST is continued on the floor by staff. They don’t assist with bathing or dental hygiene. My father went at least 4 days with no bath or brushing his teeth. There was a snow storm, I was unable to be there. Call lights are answered but nobody comes. Several times I came to the room with my father’s call light out of reach. Once pt is in the room they are left in their wheelchair or laying in bed for hours, no interaction with anyone. My dad had a stroke and was sent to Baptist for rehab. He barely had any speech therapy, which out of everything, he needed that the most. His OT and PT just “went through the motions” with him. They did the bare minimum, which is disappointing. They also did not inform us until we were leaving that we could have negotiated with our insurance company to allow him additional time in rehab. We felt like they were rushing us out of there. The case manager spoke condescendingly to my mom on a couple of occasions. We are now in Sherwood at CHI St. Vincent’s rehab, and we are blown away- it’s fabulous! The therapists are experienced, kind, and caring. They are focused on helping my dad regain his independence. He is doing very well, and is set to go home this week. We were unimpressed by Baptis

I highly recommend BRI Outpatient therapy . I had the privilege of working with Stephanie, Lauren and Jacob. They are excellent therapists. I really appreciate their care, concern and encouragement through my rehabilitation. I had a lot of questions and comments and was very comfortable expressing those and appreciated their responses. They just make you feel at home.

Thank God for this facility! My mom having the opportunity to attend this facility changed our life. I initially left 5 stars because of how life changing the therapy was. I have to tell the whole truth because your loved ones life depends on it. My mom was there for 6 weeks. My family never left my mom alone for more than an hour. Some of the nurses are not very responsive. Overall it was a great experience.

People here are nice, except this toxic employee, who parks in patient parking without any care for anyone. There was a review about her 6 months back and she still parks here. When will the administration/ authorities take care of this issue? Pull her out, speak to her and monitor her. If she still doesn't change, dismiss her. Her entitlement is not bigger than the reputation of this organization.
