We spent three days admitted to the 4th floor. We got transported from our local hospital to baptist health for my fiance broken arm and fractured back. We were assigned a neurosurgeon team, an orthopedic surgeon and a trauma surgeon. The lack of communication between the doctors and the nurses station was unbelievable. He couldn't eat or drink anything until the neurosurgeon could check the MRI. The neurosurgeon never showed up that day so the nurse decided to allow him to get on a regular diet. We went two days without any definite answers from either doctor. On day three they finally came in and sent him home with a back brace and a temporary arm cast. We never once seen house keeping while we were there. The nurse took the trash out because it was overflowing. We had no toilet paper in

My mother underwent surgery at Baptist on Friday, February 6th, and remained for a one-night inpatient stay. I would like to sincerely thank the entire Baptist team for the exceptional care she received. Every staff member who interacted with my mother demonstrated focus, attentiveness, and compassion that truly reflected VIP-level treatment. The communication with our family was timely, transparent, and reassuring throughout her stay. Having worked in Hospital Administration in Risk Management, Compliance, and Performance Improvement, I naturally observe care delivery through a professional lens. Several things genuinely stood out to me. Each time the call button was pressed, someone responded within seconds — consistently within 10 seconds. That level of responsiveness is rare and spea

A late review, but better late than never. April 2025 my mom was rushed to the ER and had an emergency aortic dissection. Dr Hemmati saved her life and she made it another seven months. She could not say enough good things about Dr Hemmati and we were all so thankful for him. He was very honest talking to me before taking her to surgery. Straight to the point and no sugar coating anything which is what I needed; full honesty.

This facility is a nightmare and an absolute joke. My hospital admission here at BHMC is one of the worst experiences of my life. The nurses and staff on 8C (PIC) have zero compassion or empathy. They are down right nasty and completely unprofessional. The lack of patient care and the quality of patient care is deplorable and unacceptable. For a supposedly faith-based hospital, the disrespect, nasty attitudes, and dishonesty displayed from staff did not go unnoticed. These atrocious nurses and staff include CARRIE, Kenn, Jacie, Jennifer, and Beth. If you want to be ignored, neglected, shamed, and ridiculed as an inpatient, this is the place to be on 8C! Dr. Dennis, Dr. Mohammed, and Dr. McElroy are lucky to give you five minutes of their time during a week long hospital stay. They make a ra

I would like to express my feedback regarding my recent experience at the hospital. Dr. Hill was very professional, and I appreciated his care and expertise during my appointment. However, I had an unfortunate encounter with his nurse on November 6th. The nurse was dismissive and spoke to me in an unprofessional manner, which I found concerning. I felt that my concerns were not addressed, and I experienced a sense of discrimination based on my ethnicity. Additionally, when I attempted to provide the paperwork she requested for my appointment, she interrupted me and did not acknowledge my efforts. This left me feeling disheartened, as I believe that all individuals in the hospital, regardless of their background, deserve to be treated with respect. While I had a positive experience with Dr.
