Customer Reviews
Best massage I've ever had. Hannah was my massage therapist. I have chronic back pain and her massage left my back pain free for 3 weeks.
I just moved back to the city and my shoulder and back was in tons of pain. I have an old sports injury that required two shoulder surgeries, and since I’ve dislocated my shoulder so much I have become tense and guarded. Amanda asked me what my needs were, asked for my preferences, and was incredibly warm and welcoming. Okay now to the good stuff…. The massage was the BEST and most beneficial deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. She found the places that I tense up and worked out the knots and tightness. I left feeling like a new person and woke up today ready to go to work. Thank you Amanda, you worked wonders. If you’re wanting targeted and actual firm deep tissue massage— this is your best bet.
I first found Ballard Health because a friend highly recommended Tyler Van Hollebeke for a neck injury. That was over two years ago, and I still see Tyler regularly. He is incredibly talented—I’m always amazed that he doesn’t charge twice what he does. I’ve never met anyone more in tune with how the body works or better at finding the exact spots that relieve pain. I’ll always be grateful to Tyler for getting me back on my feet after a serious injury. These days, I see him for “tune-ups,” but I know my recovery would have been much longer and far more painful if I hadn’t found him. He truly is a magician when it comes to healing.
In my 40+ years as an acupuncturist & body worker I’ve had many massages…. Nathan is one of THE best therapists one could hope to have. In just the very fist moments of him putting his hands on me, I could tell, his hands were “wise & well informed “!!! He was professional & “joined “me where I was. He grasped the complex issues of someone who has had both knees & a hip replaced. He knows the anatomy & the structure of body and joints, and readily “ read the points and patterns of compensation in my body!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this man
A bit different from most massages I've had before. We did some stretching beforehand and Benji took time to understand my problem areas (since I had come after a back injury). He focused the massage mostly on the problem areas and went very deep to relieve knots in my back and shoulders. Truly what I needed and a welcome change from the lighter aromatherapy style massages. :)
