Autumn Care of Statesville

We were so happy with our choice when we picked Autumn Care in Statesville.They treated us all like family and we have a large family. They took great care of my husband's Mother. They have a great team and were quick to respond when we asked questions or needed help with anything. The CNA's were awesome and very gentle to our Mother. I wish to thank everyone that helped to take care of her. I cannot remember all of their names and wouldn't want to leave anyone out. Thanks Autumn Care for making such a difficult time easier for us.

After contracting a very serious sepsis infection and several weeks in CCU, having totally lost all memories and ability to walk to name a few disabilities the illness infection left me with, the staff of Autumn Care never wrote me off. They kept believing I could at least improve, but with their insistence and dedication, I was able to walk with only a cane in 12 days. Within days I could talk of all my memories and even visit my neighbor patient which made time pass with company. To all the nurses, LPs, CNAs, and all floor staff, I sincerely thank you all for pushing me to recover and come back home. You are why I succeeded in recovery. May God bless you all forever. I wouldn't recommend any person be sent there.My mother's time there she was terrible. Her stuff would come up missing. Not by other patients. She would wake up to find nurses going through her personal bags. They would leave her setting in a chair for hours after being ask to help her back in bed. When, she was wet same situation too the point she got sores and chaft. There are more underhanded things that took place. Don't believe everything your told. Not everyone there is senile there but they act that way toward them. There are a few that do well but it doesn't make up for the majority.

IF anyone else has had or having problems with there loved ones please contact myself and lets try and do something about it , they get paid big bucks and don't do there job ,

After undergoing open heart surgery I was informed that I was being transferred to Autumn Care of Statesville. I had a very negative image of Nursing Homes and was very upset with my family. What a pleasant surprise when I arrived. The building had a fresh smell and was clean and the staff were really great. From the Aides to the nurses, doctors, Admin staff to the Therapists everyone was so motivating and supportive and always there when I needed them. I should make special mention of the Therapy Department. A true team environment who were beyond motivating. I am home returning to a normal because of them. I highly recommend Autumn Care of Statesville.
