For the first 21 years of my life, I was told I could never use any type of hearing aid or device to assist with my single-sided deafness. I actually found this location unintentionally to get a hearing test after I had a long lasting ear infection. As soon as I connected with April & Josh, I felt immediately at ease. April worked with me to do anything she could to help me & ended up setting me up with a hearing aid & transmitter to help me hear! I cannot say enough wonderful things about True North Hearing- as a customer here, I felt completely listened to, understood, and cared for! I worked with Randy Robinson in Portsmouth to consult on new hearing aids. He is knowledgeable of the products and technology, and is personally familiar with the real-world challenges those with hearing loss face in different environments. So he was able to identify the best option and tailor it to my type of hearing loss and what I was looking for. Throughout the trial period, Randy was helpful in resolving minor issues and teaching me how to best navigate the functionality of my new hearing aids. I strongly recommend Randy in the Portsmouth office if you're looking for better results from your hearing aids. He and his team are friendly and provided good communication from beginning to end.

I made a mess of my hearing aids while trying to clean them. I Walked into True North Hearing, told them my story, and 15 minutes later I was walking out with working hearing aids. I felt completely confident in their ability to correctly diagnose the problem and perform the necessary fix. Quick, friendly, and inexpensive and very professional.

Today I took my 92 year old Father-in-Law to Seacoast Hearing Center in Portsmouth. In the past we would visit the VA in Boston to get his hearing aids fixed or adjusted, but recently it is been increasingly harder to get appointments. Sometimes they would ask us to mail them in and that could take weeks before they would come back to us. Luckily for us, we were able to get an afternoon appointment today with Randall, the Hearing Instrument Specialist and he was extremely accommodating. He was able to adjust and clean his new set of hearing aids and clean and change the filters in his old set.
