This highly recommended surgeon is succinct, conservative in his approach, and very personable to talk with. My other orthopedic surgeon recommended him as a hip specialist who’s well accustomed to utilizing the least invasive methodology in performing the proposed (and now long-necessary) replacement procedure. I was initially disappointed at his caution in our first consultation, but now very glad he changed my mind about taking the extra time to prepare myself physically for a safer, better outcome - with a much shorter recovery time - even though I’ve been champing at the bit to move forward to get past worsening joint pain. So far, 5 stars. Will update after surgery is complete.

Dr Sastry is the best! He takes the time to listen in order to achieve the best outcome. I'm going forward with a partial knee replacement April 1 and I have total confidence in Dr. Sastry. He is a gifted surgeon and taught other surgeons at New England Baptist Hospital to perform Mayco robotic surgery.

Dr. Sastry & his entire team are attentive, skillful and kind! Dr. Sastry is the best! I am 4 weeks post surgery from my first hip replacement and feeling well! Dr Sastry from day 1 of my journey (hip replacement) has been a pleasure to deal with as has the entire staff at Atlantic Orthopaedics. The entire operation runs very smoothly getting you in and out without delays from initial X-rays and assessment to surgery and post op visits while offering clear explanations and taking the time to answer questions. A year after my surgery I feel great and have been back playing ice hockey 3 months post surgery.
