Atrium Health Navicent Peach

My 88 year old mother was in this hospital for 6 days. The care she received was above outstanding. The staff gave her so much individual attention. They listened to us and didn't seem rushed, though they did have a full patient load. Nobody wants to be in the hospital but if you have to be, this the one you want. Particularly outstanding was PCT Beverly and Diana, and RN Beth. P.s. My mom loved the food too.

Please do not bring your children here. We were just told they are not a children's center and no longer treat dehydration. The children will be swabbed from the waiting room and sent home. They do not care if your nonverbal autistic child with other health concerns hasn't been using the bathroom. The parents concerns will not even be asked. They have made up their mind without letting you see anyone. They said they don't poke them and apparently even a urine sample if too much effort. We will be informing our insurance company and filing a complaint with the state. Parents shouldn't be charged when help is refused. ** Update: The Macon Beverly Knight children's center helped us. Was sent with my 78 yr old mother, with shortness of breath, the head nurse at the ER was the rudest person we have ever encountered at a hospital facility, and we have been in and out of many with my mother. I do not recommend this ER and even less the Medical center in Macon, waited there 6 hours and she was never seen, had to walk right out..these facilities should not even be in operation..poorest quality of Healthcare in the business..

5-Star Review – Atrium Health ER, Byron GA (Visit: 11/14/2025) I visited the ER at Atrium Byron on 11/14/25 around 10:30 AM due to severe pain that forced me to clock out from work. Having worked in the ER at Atrium Macon before, I honestly expected a long wait and overwhelmed staff, but my experience was completely the opposite. From start to finish, the staff was absolutely top-notch. My registration was quick, and I was warmly greeted by Ms. Janet Ezell, who was polite and compassionate. Shortly after, I was brought back by Drew, who was very attentive and immediately concerned about the symptoms I was experiencing. I wish I could give zero stars. I was there for 4 hours. They started an iv within 30 minutes and drew blood. I asked for a blanket. 3.5 hours later I asked them to remove the iv and went to Houston, never got an answer about the blanket.Didn't receive one either. Never left the waiting room. A man who was there before me was in a wheelchair outside, waiting on a ride, with his iv still in his arm. They refused to give a copy of my lab results to me and I had to have Houston request them which delayed medicine being administered for another hour. Was in a bed thirty minutes after arrival. The place is a circus. You would be in better hands with a witch doctor in a tool shed than you would at Atrium Navicent Peach with an emergency.
