Aspen Dental - Altoona, PA

I have to admit I was very apprehensive about Aspen Dental as the reviews were so mixed. I was looking for a new dentist and when I started calling around most places we’re not taking new patients. Or I just never received a requested call back. All that to say the staff at the Altoona location were exceptional! Every single person I had an encounter with was wonderful! Thank you for making me feel at ease!!!

Renee is the best dental assistant I’ve ever had. I had an appointment today and the dental assistant completely changed the whole experience for me. She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive from the moment I sat down. She explained everything clearly, checked on me constantly, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. You can tell she genuinely cares about people — not just doing her job, but making sure you feel safe and supported. Her energy made a stressful situation feel easy, and I’m truly grateful for her professionalism and compassion. If every dental office had someone like her, people wouldn’t dread going to the dentist. She deserves all the recognition.

This experience was honestly the best ever. Dr. Garvey and Mary Ann are the best. The care that I received was out of this world. They were both really professional! I was scared but they both made me feel so comfortable. They went over and beyond to help me!! I’m and extremely happy!! Every time I come in to the office it’s a 10/10. I couldn’t be more happy with everything your staff has done for me.

Excellent service at Aspen Dental Clinic! They provided a complete dental check-up free of charge and examined everything thoroughly. The staff treated me with great respect and made me feel like a valued patient. Very professional and caring team. Highly recommended!

The Altoona location of Aspen was excellent! They got me in within 24hrs as a new patient. They originally thought they’d only have time for an exam (and that a cleaning would need to be scheduled for a later date), but the hygienist had a free moment and offered to do my cleaning on the spot. It was great. Kind folks all around
