Ashtanga Yoga Phoenix & Massage/PT

I started practicing at Ashtanga Yoga Phoenix a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to commit fully to Ashtanga, and there aren’t any studios near me that offer Mysore classes or consistent Primary/Half Primary led sessions. I’m so glad I chose AYP. Cindy is incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help. Any time I have a question, she has a clear answer, and her on-the-spot guidance is invaluable. When she assists or adjusts me—especially in poses I’ve been hesitant about—I feel completely supported and safe. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their Ashtanga practice.

I’ve had a great experience with Heather for my physical therapy. She really knows her stuff and has helped me a lot with my pain. Heather takes time to listen to what I need. She’s always supportive and encourages me to do my best while making sure I feel comfortable. I highly recommend Heather to anyone needing physical therapy. She’s amazing at what she does, and I’m very grateful for her help!

Ashtanga Yoga Phoenix is my absolute favorite yoga studio. I have been taking classes there for about six months now. Although this has been my first experience with Ashtanga yoga, over the years, I have tried different styles of yoga and attended classes at various yoga studios and gyms, and this is the first time that I have felt compelled to write a review to share my experience. I hope that others will give this yoga studio a try and fall in love with its community as much as I have. In my opinion, the main reason why Ashtanga Yoga Phoenix is so incredible is because of its instructors. At this time, due to my schedule, I have only taken classes taught by Cindy H., who is the studio owner and the main instructor, and Ramona C., who teaches both Ashtanga yoga and Yin yoga classes.

The best yoga studio! Everyone is so kind, humble, and helpful. It is truly the best place for people of all levels. While the focus of the studio is primarily Ashtanga, other yoga classes are offered. The studio is also very family friendly and even has some classes for kids, led by kids. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for support in yoga and in getting healthy!

The Teacher Training, classes and workshops are all amazing. I knew this studio was different the moment I walked through the doors. The knowledge and support is great. Cindy is an awesome teacher and cares about everyone.
