Had surgery last Tuesday( 2/24) and was admitted for 3 days following. The Pre Op nurses were all very kind and helpful to prepare me for my surgery. The Anesthesia Team all came in and assured me they would take good care of me. 7 hours in surgery was a long time and I put all my trust in them. They were great. I was admitted to ICU 4th floor, all the Nurses ( Maria, Abby, and Im sorry I cant remember the others name :() but all were amazing and paid close attention to me and helped me with anything and everything I could have needed. Dr. Brian Kelley and his team were amazing and came to check on me each day. Dr. Kelleys work was amazing and would definitely recommend him and Ascension Seton Main to others. Thank you Dr. Kelley and everyone apart of care for all your hard work and ded
During the days I was hospitalized, I found myself thanking God over and over again for the incredible team that cared for me. From the nurses and doctors to every member of the medical staff — including the sweet woman who cleaned my room each day — I was surrounded by kindness. The nurses on the 6th floor were truly angels 😇 sent by God. In some of my most vulnerable and painful moments, they treated me with such compassion, patience, and tenderness. They didn’t just do their jobs — they cared. They listened to me, reassured me, comforted me, and made me feel understood. They went above and beyond to make sure my pain was managed and that I felt safe. I will never forget the way they made me feel. Although the taste of the food could definitely be improved, even the dietary staff treat
I went in with chest pain at 2:00 am Friday morning. The ER staff were exceptional! They diagnosed my Afib and had me on Ives immediately. I can’t stress enough the incredible staff at Seton: from the nurses and techs on the third floor, Chelsea, Heather, Hilary! I don’t have all your names but you were all so kind and caring! From the transport group to the fabulous ladies that did my sonogram. Dr Shah, Vernell O’Hare, Gene from pharmacy. Everyone I interacted with was amazing! I had exceptional care! Thank for you professional support, kindness and care!
I just spent 6 nights in this hospital. The doctors, nurses and the nurses aids were top notch! I can't say enough about Dr. Oswald and even the nurses could only say how much they like him. We felt listened to and cared for. Nurses Emilita, Portia, Taelyn and Heather come to mind. I'm sure I'm missing some. Unfortunately PT only came on my bad days so I didn't get the movement I needed on the days I was able. RT was extra helpful too. Cafeteria could use improvement. My wife stays with me as I am 85 and hard of hearing. She was not able to get decent food at dinner time. Pre-made sandwiches were the best thing offered. The hot food at dinner are pre-cooked burger patties, chicken patties, pre-fried chicken. Just bad looking ore-cooked foods of low nutritional value. The 5 stars is because
I had a terrible experience in the imaging department during my HSG (hysterosalpingogram) procedure. From the very beginning, the scheduling process was unprofessional. The person scheduling my appointment was rude and rushed me through the call, making me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a patient preparing for a sensitive procedure. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse once I arrived for the procedure. Patients are told to expect “discomfort,” but what I experienced was extreme pain — easily a 10/10. To make matters worse, they had to reinsert the catheter twice due to what they described as a “supply shortage.” They were missing parts and said they were trying new supplies to cut costs. I was even told I was the first patient using the new supplies they had ordered
