Armonk Physical Therapy and Sports Training

Armonk Physical Therapy is excellent. The owners are wonderful and very hands on at all times. In addition, the front desk personnel are very helpful and friendly. All of the Physical Therapists are very good. In particular, Mary Beth Bates is wonderful. She is so smart and very knowledgeable as to diagnosing each individual's PT needs. Then, she recommends the very best exercises for each patient. As to the exercises, Mary Beth clearly demonstrates the right technique to follow in performing them at home.

Would highly recommend Armonk Physical Therapy! After fracturing my foot in multiple places, Rob has been incredible at guiding me back to walking. I really appreciate everything. The office is also beautiful and the staff is amazing! Thanks so much!

I highly recommend John Connelly at Armonk Physical Therapy & Sports Training!! John is a top notch physical therapist. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and goes out of his way to explain what needs to be done both during PT sessions and at home. He monitors and applauds your progress, and teaches you how to better help yourself outside of therapy sessions as well. John is always caring, affable, and a pleasure to be around. All sessions at Armonk Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine are one hour and one-on-one PT/Client. Most other PT offices handle several clients at a time and I can honestly say this made a huge difference in the quality of treatment I received.

I would not recommend Armonk physical therapy. The front office is disorganized and my appointments were booked incorrectly on many occasions. It took forever to get the Medicare reimbursement since I had to pay upfront to cover all the costs first. The treatment was not cheap and was not worth the service I received. There are other local options that do take insurance and have a well organized office, while offering great therapy. Don’t be fooled by the “one patient per hour.”

I have had several fantastic experience at Armonk Physical Therapy. Mary Beth and Rob are outstanding. The format of the visit - spending one hour with a single experienced therapist - is much superior to many other PT groups that I have worked with in the past. And they have the right amount of activity and equipment in the PT area, but are definitely not crowded. I have probably seen 10 different PT groups over the years, and this is by far the best one I have worked with. They are now the only PT group I work with.
