Angeles College - City of Industry

I attended the LVN program at Angeles College and it was an excellent experience! The tuition is very reasonable, and the instructors are knowledgeable, professional, and truly care about their students. The learning environment is friendly, with supportive classmates and a strong sense of teamwork. One of the highlights is the many clinical opportunities provided, which allowed me to apply classroom knowledge directly in real-world settings. The program is short but very effective, and the passing rate is high, showing the strong quality of education here. I’m very grateful for my time at Angeles College and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing an LVN program!

I'm currently in VN23 at Angeles College. Before attending this program, I was actually in an ADN program at the start of the year. Due to personal reasons, I had to put my RN at pause which made me feel like becoming a nurse wasn't achievable. Dina works with you and most importantly, doesn't make you feel like a number. Based on my past experience with admissions, she really stands out and makes it her mission to provide whatever she can to make sure you are making the right decision for yourself. I chose Angeles College at this particular campus because of the recommendation from my coworkers, who are attending the VN part time program. I would like to give a big shout out to Dina in admissions. She was very thorough with her presentation on the program. Once I started the process, she guided me throughout the entire process from taking the entrance exam, submitting admission requirements, faculty interview, setting up financial aid meetings, attending the new student orientation, to the first day of school getting the books and uniforms, so I could start in the current cohort that I am in without confusion. The program is well organized, the instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, and the tuition is very reasonable compared to other programs. I have been a nursing student at Angeles College for about two months now, and overall my experience has been very positive. The instructors are very friendly, supportive, and always willing to help students succeed. Although the program is academically demanding, the school provides a lot of learning materials and resources to support us throughout the process. Whenever I encounter questions or difficulties, the administrative staff responds quickly and efficiently, which makes a big difference as a new student. The environment here truly encourages students to study hard while feeling supported at the same time. Overall, it is a place where you are expected to work hard, but you are never doing it alone—everyone is willing to help.
