If I had the option to give her zero stars, I would. She’s incredibly dismissive and immature as a healthcare provider. I brought up concerns about my A1C not improving despite making significant lifestyle changes, but she insisted that I simply needed to make dietary adjustments. That’s not true! Fast forward, and my A1C was high because I was frequently experiencing hypoglycemia. If you’re a person of color, I strongly advise you to avoid seeing her. She’s not culturally competent and became defensive when I requested a referral to a specialist because it clearly fell outside of her scope of practice.
