Amy B. Alvis

I am new to the Bluefield VA area and went online to their site where it clearly showed Amy Alvis was accepting new pts and made a new pt appt. The site gave many time slots available for a new pt appt, so I scheduled myself. Then, I rec'd a call about an hour later asking if I'd made that appt in error, in a bit of a sarcastic tone, like it was ridiculous that I'd done that. I told the gal I didn't make the appt by mistake. She said Amy Alvis was NOT excepting new pts as they're already way too busy. The office gal asked if I'd like to cancel the appt or if I prefer she do it. Just like that, my appt was canceled.

I have seen Amy Alvis and would not hesitate to recommend her! She is a wonderful listener, an observant clinician and very much on top of the latest medical knowledge.

She has been my Doctor for at least 15 years. She is very caring and dose what you ask her to. Our family Loves her.

Amy and her staff have been a blessing to me. Very knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great healthcare!

Worse office ! Worse staff! They lie! My mother has ran out of important meds twice...and almost out more than once...she will not be going bk there !!
