I had an excellent experience at American Orthopedics. I was able to get in immediately, and everyone on the staff was eager to help, making me feel welcome and valued. The team is amazing—friendly, attentive, and professional. Dr. Ratner was exceptional—very knowledgeable and genuinely helpful in addressing and alleviating my issue. I highly recommend this practice for all of your orthopedic needs!

American orthopedic is a fantastic office with very kind, caring, knowledgeable staff. There are very tentative in answering any questions I had and always did there very best to make sure I was well taken care of. Dr. Ratner is hands down awesome. He went above and beyond to make sure my surgery went flawless but he also took so much time explaining every aspect of the surgery, recovery, and explanation on how he performed the procedure. I felt like I was not just a patient but an individual that Dr. Ratner and the staff truly cared about. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Ratner as top orthopedic.

Dr. Ratner has performed two hip replacements for me, one in January and one just a few weeks ago, and both experiences have been very positive. My recovery has gone well, and I’ve felt well cared for throughout the process. Dr. Ratner is attentive, knowledgeable, and takes the time to answer questions. The office staff is very helpful, and I am glad to drive an hour to his new office because the care is worth it. Highly recommend.

I was referred to American Orthopedics by my doctor on February 1st for carpal tunnel and back strain. Since then, it has been a series of lies and unprofessionalism. Initially, the front desk person, Darcy, told me that filing my FMLA and disability paperwork would be no problem. During my first appointment, I was also told that I would not be charged for x-rays, but I later found out that they charged me for them anyway. While Darcy did communicate about the insurance problems for the MRI, the story regarding my paperwork changed completely. I was told by a nurse that I had to have surgery before they would fill out my FMLA paperwork; then, they changed it again and said they were just waiting on my MRI results. After 16 days of being misled, I took the initiative to go in on February 16

Dr Ratner and his staff have been amazing in treating my son's hip injury and providing him with a solution to return to the sports he participates in. The office provides personalized attention during your appointment and Dr Ratner spends time with his patients explaining treatment and where you do not feel rushed. Appointment scheduling is prompt and easy. Cant say enough good things about this office!
