Alki Dental

I just started going to Alki Dental. I had a price quote at another clinic on a Crown and it was outrageous and they didn't accept my dental insurance, so the cost would primarily be out of pocket. I decided to shop around. Alki Dental stood out for my needs. My quote was way lower, and it included another crown and filling. I was sold at that point. Why not ? Alki Dental is very nice, professional, and best of all they take my insurance "Delta Dental" Dr Park is a very good dentist she fit my temporary crowns perfectly which was a relief compared to my last dentist. The staff is professional and explained everything about the process. I didn't give a 5 star, because I am a new patient and not completed with my crown process. But so far so good.

I am TERRIFIED of the dentist, but I love it here!! This is the first dentist I've ever gone to where they make sure my mouth is actually numbed before drilling!! Everyone is so incredibly nice and it makes me feel so much more at ease!! Also, I dont have insurance, but using their membership and payment plans options make it waaaaaay more accessible!! There's some street parking and also a paid lot within walking distance.

Went here for the first time yesterday! First off the location is great if you want a view of the beach while you get your mouth worked on! Doesn’t hurt to have a nice view! Secondly, the staff were all great! From the front desk being super friendly and helpful to the DA being kind and very reassuring. The dentist themselves also was great, I had recommendations from her that were necessary and not from a viewpoint of wanting to sell another service. She also prevented me from having to unnecessarily do a procedure that in the past other dentists have been eager to get me to “fix”. I felt welcomed, heard, and assured. Highly recommend coming here!

I'd say their strength is doing what you ask. For example, their cleanings were too gentle so I asked them to go rougher. Now I leave spitting blood every time! Cons would be that the dental chairs are pretty worn out and everything has a yellow tinge to it. I can overlook this though. They have some of the best x-ray technology I've seen, are nice, have a clean facility, parking's pretty good... I've gone three times and plan to keep going back.

Alki Dental has taken care of all of my dental needs with great service. They accommodate and reschedule when I need to even with short notice. They keep me informed about upcoming procedures and make sure I am comfortable with everything during them. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and make my visits a pleasant experience. I have been a patient of Dr. Chi since 2019.
