AFC Urgent Care Carmel

The only thing which was smooth was scheduling. We had an appointment for 11:00, arrived a few minutes early and weren't called into to the exam room until 12:07. While we were waiting I received discharge papers before seeing anyone. How is that possible? I asked when the provider was coming in, I was told "We are busy, she's in with another patient." She didn't apologize, it was almost like she didn't care. The provider came in at 12:35, more than 90 minutes after our scheduled appointment. She was good, attended to my daughter quickly. She said my daughter needs antibiotics, said she would send new discharge papers, I never received a text. I called the location since the papers were old and medication was wrong. My son woke up with his eye lid swollen. It was easy to check in. Everything is done on your phone. Staff was very nice and friendly. Once I got into a room the wait was a bit long but once the doctor came in it was fast.

The facility was clean, the staff were friendly, the nurse/doctor was very attentive. It was easy to use the site to make an appointment and there wait was not bad.

I had to go to AFC Carmel yesterday and wanted to share the experience bc it was so smooth and that is so unusual for most urgent care visits. The online portal was easy to schedule in and the check in easy. I waited only a few minutes and was attended to by the nurse and doctor within 5 minutes. They listened, were informative and solved the problem. The facility itself looked brand new and clean.

Both front office and medical staff were outstanding. I was treated with respect and they listened to everything I had to say. The examination was thorough and I received treatment for my condition onsite. I was prescribed several medications and each was explained to me in detail before I left.
