⚠️ Residents of Vernon Hills – Please Read ⚠️ I visited Advocate Condell Immediate Care Center at 6 E Phillip Rd, Vernon Hills, IL for a routine urgent care consultation related to acute ear pain. The visit was brief and medically straightforward. However, weeks later I received an unexpected bill of approximately $680 because the physician was processed as “out-of-network.” At no point during registration or treatment was I informed that the doctor working inside an Advocate Health facility would be considered out-of-network. There was no disclosure and no option provided. Updating my review because they charged me TWICE for the same visit, once for the provider, who was awful, and once for the facility. This would have cost over $1000 if I didn’t have insurance! Absolutely ridiculous, I refuse to go to this immediately care facility ever again and will tell every single person to never go here. Over $1000 for a strep test and a mono test. Original review: Alright. Here’s the lowdown. The place was decent, I was taken back almost immediately, the nurse Maria was absolutely excellent, a lovely person, in the right field. They have always been prompt and taken me seriously. I love that they're closer to a standalone ER than a retail urgent care. Went with a vicious migraine and they had me in a bed in five minutes so I could lay in the dark and quiet to wait for a doctor rather than sitting in the waiting room in pain.

I am rating this place a 5 star i have brought my son twice to this immediate care and the staff has been nice and caring with us the wait time was about an hour i was here when they had 7 other patients in line so i knew from the start there was going to be a wait the front desk lady made it easy from processing my insurance to getting my 8 year old in a room asap to get an ankle injury checked out ! Rooms are clean and Doctor knew what he was doing.

4:45pm & they’re cleaning and closing. My wife only needed an ingrown nail treatment. But, a medical center closes on New Years Day. Probably because of short staffing…. We can’t get medical care because Advocate Advocates for themselves.
