I wanted to share the patient experience from Adventist Healthcare Fort Washington Medical Center. The patient care service was extremely poor, inattentive, staff doesn’t want to provide their names, combative at times when asking clarifying questions or having concerns. Attitude was the worst. Making statements to family members that the patient can be an ass whole please don’t tell her… rooms nasty sharp containers which is biohazard left open huge safety hazard!! Look at the photos below, unsanitary look at the floor. Patient came in walking discharge not being able to walk at all. The only staff member deserve any praise was Ms. Pamela (Medical Assistant/RN) she was super helpful during patient discharge!! Called today just to get a contact number for the patient experience, the la

Serious Patient Care Failures and Lack of Dignity My mother was brought to this hospital around noon on February 5 after suffering a serious hip fracture. She clearly informed staff that she could not walk and was placed in a wheelchair, where she remained until approximately 7:30 PM without appropriate care. During that time, no one assisted her to the restroom, despite her repeatedly stating she could not walk. As a result, she urinated on herself while sitting in the wheelchair. She was in excruciating pain, distressed, and left without dignity or timely medical attention. When I arrived and questioned why she was still sitting in a wheelchair and not receiving care, she was eventually taken to a room. I had to take her soiled clothing home myself. She remained hospitalized from Febr

Cynthia is truly a wonderful nurse. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and cared for, often checking on me before I even thought to call. Her warm personality and kind, gentle way of speaking made such a difference during my time there. I’m so grateful for her care and compassion. Thank you for your care.

Dr. Bowen at Adventist Healthcare Medical Center in Fort Washington was highly knowledgeable about my mother’s condition and experienced during her December 2024 visit. He literally saved my mother’s life and was dedicated in getting further and more advanced treatment she needed. Upon my mother leaving the hospital for advanced care the nurses notified me by phone after I left for the night about the status of my mother’s condition and that she would be transported to another facility. Grateful for the nurses communicating with me through out the medical center experience…. In addition, recently during my January 2026 visit with Dr. Bowen he pin pointed my condition and recommended me to follow up with my primary care without knowing my previous medical history. I would give Dr. Bowen

First, my family and I would like to share a special thank you with Debbie, Yen, and Yolanda members of your physical and occupational therapy team. Our mother enjoyed working with them. She found them personable and helpful. We appreciated that they communicated our mother’s needs, kept us informed of her progress, and demonstrated the exercises she would need to continue in the recovery of her broken humerus. Unfortunately, We were very displeased with care provided by the nursing staff and the facility amenities. The fist room where my mother was placed was in desperate need of a refresh, it needed to be painted, belongings of the previous resident remained on the walls. She did not have hot water, which meant we needed to bring a thermos of hot water to bath her. In three days of her
