AdventHealth Minneola

We've had some recent positive interactions with Advent before they opened Minneola (the Advent ER in Clermont and the hospital in Winter Garden). So when my husband had an acute problem, we headed for the new Advent hospital in Minneola. We were not disappointed. We arrived and were quickly checked in and brought to a room for evaluation. After testing he was brought to the 4th floor for two days of further testing. Our nurse, Shanese was absolutely fantastic as were all the other medical team members. You are provided a tablet to use that gives you all the information on tests and your care team. They were patient and thorough with all our questions. And, a bonus was the food was good and the place was super clean. Highly recommend.

My husband was here for 3 days and 2 nights due to TIA symptoms. Our experience was exceptional from the moment we entered the ER until discharge. We have nothing but gratitude for the entire team — doctors, nurses, security guards, housekeepers, nurse assistants, food delivery staff, etc. I recommend this hospital without hesitation to anyone seeking great care and service. It was time for Clermont and the surrounding areas to have a better hospital option.

I recently had to have multiple MRIs done on the advice of my primary care physician. I chose AdventHealth as I have had various imaging done with them before. My care has always been excellent, so I called and made the appointment! Again, I was well pleased with everyone who took care of me from the minute I walked in the facility in Minneola. The technician who actually took care of me during the procedure, John, was kind, caring and efficient. AdventHealth will continue to be my go-to for imaging in the future.

I was in this hospital for 4 days. That includes Christmas Day! I have to tell you my experience so that you'll be aware. I had pneumonia and some bacteria in my body. My oxygen was a problem. My immediate nurses, Hazel, Annaleese, Angel, some of the most wonderful women I've ever met. They took such good care of me above and beyond. My doctor at the hospital they call him Mr b because nobody can pronounce his name. Told me I could go home the day before Christmas then as the day wore on he changed his mind. Said I had to stay in another day but said I could go home Christmas. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. On Christmas Day a nurse came into work. Her name is Carol Fisher, rn. She held me hostage with oxygen. She made my daughter bring in a tank that I had at home because s

My husband Frank had outpatient surgery performed here. The following two nurses -Dawn (Preop)and Nadine (Recovery) were excellent. Dr. Putnick was also excellent. She personally kept me informed with the status of the operation. The facility is excellent.
