Accelerate Physical Therapy

I have a number of complicated medical issues and really needed to find a specialist to create a customized plan for my recovery after multiple surgeries. Viraj has been just that person. She is thoughtful, thorough and highly educated on various autoimmune conditions as well as biomechanics and how the body all works together. She is helping me tackle a number of issues at once and her holistic, Pilates-based approach is just what I have needed. I very much value her as a partner in my recovery!

Viraj provides a holistic approach via her PT and Pilates exercises. Within days of following her regimen, I've experienced reduced joint pain and improved posture. More importantly, I believe her exercise based therapeutics mitigated my severe bouts of acid reflux strongly suggesting that her focus on one's core strength is the basis for everyday mobility and well being.

Viraj at Accelerate Physical Therapy is a hidden gem and I cannot recommend her highly enough! I started seeing her to learn how to safely begin weight training after an osteoporosis diagnosis, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. Not only is my strength improving, but I’ve seen a significant improvement in my shoulder and neck mobility as well. Viraj is not just a physical therapist; she is an insightful and patient teacher with extensive knowledge in body mechanics. She taught me how to activate the proper muscles and position myself not just for lifting but for everyday tasks (which I apparently had been doing incorrectly my whole life!) and how to breathe properly to create the necessary space and support for my spine.
