I am writing this review regarding my appointment on January 20 at 3:00 PM (arrival at 2:45 PM). Due to the issues outlined below, I will not be returning to this clinic. While Nurse Practitioner Jimenez was professional, attentive, and gentle during my exam, my interaction with a medical assistant was dismissive and inappropriate. I asked a straightforward question regarding the purpose of a urine sample. Rather than providing a clear explanation, the medical assistant appeared irritated, dismissed my question, and unnecessarily deferred the explanation to the provider. Later, the medical assistant explained the reason herself (confirming pregnancy status prior to prescribing birth control), making the initial dismissal unwarranted. We had been waiting a long time for this appointment for our three kids. I took time off work and kept my daughter home from school just to be there. But on the same day, we received a call saying it was canceled and would be rescheduled. No warning the day before—just last-minute. This kind of thing really makes us sad. It’s not easy to plan everything with kids, and it felt like our time and effort didn’t matter. I hope they can treat families with more care and communicate better in the future.
