1st Choice Urgent Care of Macomb on Romeo Plank

I completed all the forms online in advance and checked in from my car. There was no wait at all and we were taken right back for a strep test. It was very fast, clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would come here again. Our total time was 20 minutes from walking in the door, waiting for results of a strep test, and leaving. Super fast!

So thankful for the team at this urgent care. From the smooth check-in to getting us in quickly and providing the care we needed, everything felt efficient and well-organized. The staff was compassionate and professional. Highly recommend!

Dr. Clayton was very professional and took the time to hear our concerns. She made my 6 year old feel very comfortable when he was nervous, helped him understand what she was doing (looking in his ears, at his throat, etc), and kept me informed with what she saw and what was happening the entire time. She discussed options and step by step directions for all medications prescribed. Best urgent care we have gone to and fastest. Highly recommend.

I visited on a Saturday at approximately 11am. I was put off by the condition of the lobby. There are no end/side tables available to set your items while filling out paperwork. I guess it’s understandable, except that the floor was absolutely filthy. There was a film on it along with dirt and debris. I waited 45 minutes after check in and was there for a total of one hour and 10 minutes. The office was not super busy, but they do have a mobile check in so I was able to see that two people had checked in before me. The service provider was nice enough, and efficiently addressed my issues, providing needed prescriptions. From the moment i wobbled in i was greeted and rushed over with a wheel chair and told to relax that im in great hands. Felt so comfortable and was given excellent patient care from front desk clerk, young lady that took my BP (and took my damn weight LOL) all the way to the on duty doctor Alex. Love me some Alex bc she broke everything to me down in detail about my fractured ankle. She also followed up with me after my Binsons visit and referred me to MI Orthopedics Group in Royal oak where I just had ankle surgery today.
