I have been with other local practices before and when in Florida more recently, so I have the ability to compare to Yorktown in Jenkintown Pa. To me, a good family dentist is all about how the staff makes you feel and how they respond to your needs. Are they calm and understanding? Do they really listen when you talk about your teeth, gums, and your health in general? I also look at how organized the front office is and whether they have up-to-date equipment and longevity of staff. What’s really key for me, though, is how they complete and follow up on your treatment curing your problem promptly and competently and whether they respect your budget when things get pricey, are options made available and timing provided?
