Xpress Wellness Urgent Care - Lawrence

I've been here twice in the 6 months I've lived in Lawrence, both with and without an appointment. Both times were 10 out 10 experiences. Check in is an easy process with friendly front desk staff, and the wait to get back wasn't too bad when I came as a walk in. Gavin is a fantastic MA/EMT with a wonderful sense of humor and really helped ease my white coat anxiety. Doctor Elo might be the coolest doctor. Very relatable, easy to understand, and a great listener. Definitely my first choice for urgent care.

Urgent care takes appointments and walk ins. I was impressed how quickly they were moving patients in and out and was glad to be seen quickly myself since I felt so sick. They sent prescriptions before I even left the office which helped me to get home from the pharmacy quickly. I hope I don’t have to go back but if I’m sick again I’m glad to know I can trust this urgent care to take good care of me and my loved ones

I was a walk in and needed a prescription filled. The receptionist was very accommodating, I didn’t want to wait in the lobby to be seen which was no problem. They called me when my appointment was near, wait time of about an hour. The physician as well as the nurse were very kind. My visit was probably about as straight forward as it gets still the Dr toke the time to tell me things I should be considering at my age, 44. Never being there before, not stepping ft in a medical facility in decades I wasn’t sure what to expect. I tell ya if I need this kind of service/care in the future I will be coming back here. The DR really made things comfortable…

We had such a positive experience at this urgent care. They took us in just 2 minutes before closing and never once made us feel rushed. The staff was incredibly patient while I was still completing the patient information form and even offered to help if I needed anything. When it came time for the X-ray, the nurse was exceptionally kind with my 5-year-old. She was patient, calm, and used exactly the right tone, which made a big difference for a nervous child. I came in 30 to close (I just got off work) and everyone was still friendly, which I think speaks to the quality of the staff. Nothing crazy, just making sure my flu wasn't turning into bronchitis or pneumonia. The nurse was nice, and the doctor was straight forward, made sure my lungs sounded okay, and prescribed some medicine just to help me sleep a little better through my congestion while I ride the rest of this out. Pleasant and quick experience, they still got me on my way 2 minutes until close :)
