I recently visited Wood & Myers Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for my eight-year-old's oral surgery. The office itself was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. The staff was generally friendly, but there's room for improvement in how they interact with younger patients. My child seemed a little intimidated, and a more gentle approach would have made a big difference. My main issue was with the unexpected cost increase. I was initially quoted $135 after insurance, but after an additional x-ray to check for a potential complication, the total jumped to $1600 right before the surgery. I had my final appointment with Dr Smith today for my dental implant. The whole process went smoothly, minimal discomfort and a job well done by the entire staff. I especially appreciated Dr Smith taking the extra time to ensure I was educated on all phases of the process. I would recommend wood and Myers.

I went here for a wisdom tooth extraction in July 2024, something that went perfectly and with no major complications during or after the procedure. The level of care and expertise was nothing short of exceptional. However, in July of 2025, 12 months later, we suddenly receive notice that we are now under debt collection for a sum of money that was never disclosed. We paid roughly $350 out of pocket at the day of procedure, being told that the rest had been covered by insurance.
