I had a similar experience as Mark Johnson. Almost verbatim. "I have been a patient of Dr. Wonderlich’s for many years (since she first opened her practice). When I retired and about to go on Medicare, I was told by her personally that I would be grandfathered in and continue to be treated." When I tried to make my annual appointment Rebecca told me I couldn't do so because I was on Medicare. I explained to her what Dr. Wonderlich told me. It didn't matter. This certainly shows a lack of professionalism.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wonderlich’s for many years. When I retired and about to go on Medicare, I was told by her personally that I would be grandfathered in and continue to be treated. Six months ago I made an appointment for June 2025, later confirmed the appointment by phone, received a text confirming the appointment three days beforehand, and showed up on time. When I got there, I was refused service because I was told I was on Medicare. I was not allowed to pay cash, and I was turned away despite my history of care. I am extremely disappointed with this level of unprofessionalism.

Dr. Kimberly Wonderlich was attentive to my worries and empowered me with the knowledge of understanding what is what and what to look out for as we age. My veteran husband also felt comfortable being seen and commented about her professionalism and obvious expertise. I would highly suggest her to my friends and family!

In spite of the pressure of threats having been made, Dr. W. was totally friendly, thorough, and respectful, and informative. I went in with some concerns, all of which she answered. It is pitiful that a person who is unhappy with their treatment resorts to threats and totally disrupts an entire group of people because of their dissatisfaction. My thanks to Dr. W. for continuing to provide excellent health care in spite of her considerable external problems.

I am very satisfied with my care at Wonderlich Dermatology. The office is clean. The staff are all friendly and professional. Dr. Wonderlich has a calm, personable demeanor. She reviewed my history, asked questions, prompted me to ask questions frequently, and made sure I was aware of and okay with everything she did. I never felt pressured or dismissed, and she made sure she addressed all of my concerns. The office staff contacted me for follow up when and how they said they would, always courteous and friendly. I am so grateful to have Dr. Wonderlich here in Fairbanks!
