Williamsville Suburban Safire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

PLEASE READ! I had to place my brother here last July, 2025, and was okay with it. But it had many things I needed to stay on top of. He was discharged back home in September. But sadly he had to return to a 24 hour skilled care facility in February 2026, and I requested that he come back to Williamsville Suburban. This time we find it has all improved a LOT, from much better food service to improved nursing staff, caring staff all around, and wonderful and helpful administrative people in the Business office, Admissions, Nurse's Desk, Social Work, and Janitorial and Maintenance staffs! I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about the people there! I actually feel LISTENED TO when I need to voice concerns or have questions. And their quick responses have shown us they all really do

**UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE: Stop with the form letter responses. Your place is a disgusting pit that isn’t fit enough to serve cockroaches. If you took our reviews seriously, you would have done something constructive about it instead of offering me to call. You don’t want me to call, I promise you that. I have already reported you to New York State, and you have a lot of audacity having the pictures you do on your website. Two Words. HELL. HOLE. If you have ever seen the show Golden Girls, and wondered what “Shady Pines Retirement Home” would have looked like, this would be the perfect set for it. My aunt was transferred here from Mercy Hospital (THAT is a separate matter I am dealing with), and I was about 10 minutes ahead of the transport van. I pulled onto the property and there were

Do not go there!! I was pushed onto the floor and landed up in the hospital. Poor quality food. Staff does not respond when you press the call button. Had bugs and flies crawling on my face. Very rough treatment. If you care about your health, this is not the place to go to. Was pushed off the bed twice.Ended up in icu.

This facility is filthy and disgustingly dirty from when you walk into the front door. The patient's room and especially the bathroom was filthy. The entire facility needs to be rehabbed. The staff was very courteous and engaging.

This place smells bad, they don't clean it. I feel sorry for lacks o f atención they give to the patients. Patients suffer for the póor hygiene. This place should be closed, everything in the room is old. This center needs immediate attention.
