My experience with Dr. wooden was amazing. He is super thoughtful, friendly, and funny; but he also did an amazing job explaining what he saw and what the consequences of all options were. He made good well thought out recommendations and told me what he would do, but allowed me to make the decision.

I would never recommend Dr. Wooden. He may have excellent credentials but his arrogance completely negates that. I went to him to have 2 lipomas removed that were causing considerable pain. The conversation that ensued was; they are to deep to remove in the office. He stated I would have to be completely anesthetised and because of my weight he wouldn’t do that. He suggested I went somewhere for pain management. Please note, my explanation is much kinder than his. My primary care was shocked and sent me to a general surgeon that excised them in his office. The procedure was painless with the numbing agent he used and since one was on a nerve I had almost immediate relief even though I had the incisions and a lot of bruising. I was diagnosed with Melanoma by my local family doctor. I did some research & requested a referal to IU. Within a few business days, Mindy called & got me a quick appointment to see Dr Wooden. Mindy spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone. She realized I was coming 2 1/2 hrs away. She went out of her way to get me scheduled & get all pre admission testing within a couple of days. I met with Dr Wooden & he explained what to expect, what his plan was & most of all- gave me hope there is treatment available. He was kind & understanding. He did my surgery this week. I had a great experience considering the fact I have skin cancer. His nurse Sherry called me 2 days post op to check on me. Everyone was helpful & caring. It makes my 2 1/2 hour drive one way - WORTH IT. Im so glad I found

I find Dr. Wooden to be very honest, professional and and excellent physician. He was interested in my well being, what was best for me. I would never hesitate to refer anyone to him. Thank you Dr. Wooden you have restored my faith in the medical profession.

I was referred to this office by my primary physician for a 2nd opinion. It is over an hour away from my residence. I was contacted by this office and an appointment was made. I was told that location, directions, parking information, and paperwork for me to fill out before coming to the appointment would all be emailed to me. When it wasn't emailed to me, I called the office 2 more times and was promised each time that it would be sent before the appointment. I looked up the position by name and proceeded to the address listed on the day of the appointment. Upon arriving I was told that his office had changed location and was sent to two more offices before finally getting to the right reception desk. By the time they checked me in and I got my paperwork completed, it was already 4
