Extremely pleased with results of my surgery by Dr. Bearden to correct my Eyelid ptosis. He took lots of time with me before, during, and after my surgery. I used the lid lift goggles And I truly think they made a difference! I Highly recommend Dr. Bearden. The care I was given by the staff at the Virginia Eye Institute hospital for my surgery, was the best you could ask for. I have been seeing professionals at the Virginia Eye Institute for years now and only have wonderful feedback for all of them.

I was referred to Dr Bearden for my 6 year old daughter for ptosis surgery and I cannot tell you how very thankful I am that we went there and had the surgery done. Not only is Dr Bearden very thorough and knowledgeable, he is also very patient and compassionate to a shy, nervous child. He took the time to explain everything in detail and let me know what to expect with recovery. His staff was also outstanding with my daughter. The results are absolutely perfect. You would have never known my daughter even had ptosis if you hadn’t seen her before. If I could give Dr Bearden 10 stars I would because 5 is not enough. It brings a tear to my eyes every time I look at her and see how he’s changed her life and how happy she is. I highly recommend you take your child to see him.

My son was referred to Dr. Bearden by his pediatrician for a ptosis surgery about six months ago. Unfortunately, the results were very disappointing the ptosis returned, and the appearance of his eyelid did not improve as we hoped. We went for follow-up visits over several months, and I felt that Dr. Bearden did not show much empathy or concern about how the outcome affected my son. As a parent, I left feeling that my child’s case was not given the same level of care and attention that every patient deserves. I truly hope that this feedback encourages more compassion, better communication, and more consistent quality of care for all patients in the future

Dr.Bearden and his staff are ROCKSTARS cant thank them enough for what they've done for me. No other eye places in Virginia as far as im concerned.I had droopy eyelids The doc filled me in on what casued it and what the fix was, we went ahead with the operation.. And the operation turned out fantastic a week later and its night and day difference. Wish I would have done it sooner.. I cant speak highly enough about Dr. Bearden and his team... He was extremely knowledgeable, and they were patient with me asking questions over and over. 10/10

Summarizing an outstanding practice like this, is hard to do! From the front desk to the bill collector, everyone is kind and patient. Ebony, Sherrell, Kim and Tammy, oh Tammy! These are top-knotch people. They run the practice efficiently and they dig deep to find answers to all of the questions! Dr Bearden has a manner that calms. He is incredibly precise and skilled beyond human understanding! His ability to address the issue at hand and deliver a result is truly remarkable! 🥇
