Do not take your loved one here. My grandmother was admitted there for two weeks for rehabilitation. In just one week's time. She had a nurse trying to scam her out of her account number saying she had to pay for Wi-Fi when it comes free. No one come in to give her a bath. She had to do it herself in her wheelchair. The place is dirty. the sewage overflowed in the toilet the very first day and they put towels down and said there was no house cleaning during the weekend. so the sewage covered towels set there for 24 hours. every time I would call to make complaints they would assure me it would get done, rather it be bathing cleaning or any other need and it was never done. fortunately my grandmother didn't need to stay any longer than a week. this place is dirty the nurses are unprof

I waited a few months to do this review. I had looked into this facility, read reviews and checked appropriate sites but just as I was planning a visit, my mother spent 6 nights in the hospital and we had to choose which rehab to send her to(which has become her permanent home). From the first minute when staff was stopping to comfort me as I was extremely emotional, to every visit when we have seen how they talk to the residence and everyone is clean and taken care of, the rooms and hallways always smell clean, laundry is done regularly, we have had nothing but gratitude for them all making us feel that we have made the absolute right decision. THE STAFF. I don’t care that the facility is a bit older and in need of some updates, the staff is key. I have heard how they come into the room w

My mom arrived her on Oct 4. She arrived at 3:30 pm .I arrived there at 3:45 pm. By 4:30 pm her oxygen level was at 77% they gave her a shot and breathing treatment for her lungs. Oxygen level got to 82% the nurses left the room and I started checking the oxygen lines for kinks what I found was her oxygen line was not connected. When I connected it with in minutes her oxygen level was at 99%. The next day I came to see her and noticed the first thing was her oxygen line was not connected for the second time. I filled out her food Manu and she never got what I put down. 5 days in I noticed that her oxygen machine had a yellow light on it. I looked it up to see what it meant. I like ti express my deep gratitude to the staff at white Oak Manor York for the amazing care of my mother, Isabel Balbuzano and to me and My family the are no words to describe how amazing an kind the staff was to us. the showed my mother unconditional love and were angels to make her comfortable .I'd like to especially thank Nashita, Rhonda,Terry,Joahn Hannah who made a tremendous impact on me in the way they cared for my mother and for us in her final days. Update: The nursing staff is caring and working with my mother. She is not responding well but her Alzheimer’s, a nurse called it that, is keeping her confused. I wasn’t ready to hear it but I have to face the facts. She is slipping away but I cannot unfairly blame the people trying to help her. The activities staff did call me back that day with a FaceTime visit. Was it due to my Google Review? Who knows. My mother is here and we have made a terrible choice in her care. We fell and broke her hip and shoulder and had to go to a rehab facility after being released from the hospital. In the hospital we could visit her everyday and pretty much all day in order to help with her. She has dementia. Without a familiar face she won’t eat. The evening nurse in her section is very considerate. Sh
