Walgreens Pharmacy

I have bad knees and literally, barley make it standing in line to get my rx if there is 1 or 2 people ahead of me. Today they were ready to get off for new yr and I watched them help 8 customers in 10 mins flat! Staff has always been friendly and helpful and I hate to leave this review, but it just shook me to see that they do know how to get people through that fast.

This is the absolute slowest pharmacy that I have ever been too. Almost every time I come here there is a long line. You would think, that with the growth of the community and the increased need for a quality pharmacy, another one would open in town or Walgreens would open the second lane thats been sitting there unused for years!! Unreal

The only pharmacy in York (besides Walmart). There store is always clean shelves are in order and they always are stocked. Associates are so friendly and helpful! And the pharmacy always fills my prescriptions quickly and the pharmacist and techs are so nice and answer any questions I have! Definitely a 5 star place!!

I tried to like this pharmacy but they just won't let me. There is a woman with shoulders length gray hair that is just mean. Badge-heavy last word type. She should not have access to customers. Other than her, the employees I encountered are great and try to help however they can. This could probably be a Walgreens storewide issue and not isolated to this one. My frustration comes from the miscommunication, lack of accuracy in the online account, and forced errors on their part. Prescription info online is sketchy at best. It shows it is ready, then it disappears. They seem to run out of a medicine one needs and will tell you to go try another store instead of them checking it before you travel there. I'm not too sure what has happened here but it's a fight EVERY month to get anything filled. It's never ready when they say it is, even though they've sent a text saying that it is indeed ready. And they fill stuff that no one asked them to fill, like old prescriptions that I've asked 5 times to be removed. This pharmacy is completely overwhelmed and at capacity. Can we get a CVS in York please?! If my parents weren't on medication that they NEEDED, like diabetes medicine, a day or two late wouldn't matter, but it does. Bout to make a switch.
