Westway Vision

I had a really great experience at Westway Vision in NYC. I had a pretty tricky issue with my glasses that a couple of other stores couldn’t fix and honestly just turned me away. Dr. Harry took the time to actually look at the problem, figure it out, and managed to fix them for me. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. It’s rare to find someone who’s willing to go the extra mile like that. Really grateful for the help! Highly recommend Westway Vision if you need anything related to glasses or eye care. During multiple visits, I felt the doctor was dismissive. Once, when I came in for an eye emergency, he told me he didn’t prescribe eye drops and that I should go else where instead of prescribing something . Another time, he wouldnt let me pick up my contacts without my credit card even though I explained I needed them first thing in the morning he gave me a pair but so reluctantly. And today, I said enough is enough. I’ve decided to find another provider. So I called to request my records and he said all he was going to give me was my glasses prescription. I looked online at the Board of Optometry and he’s breaking the law by only offering to give me the glasses Rx. He’s also breaking HIPPA regulationns!!!!!! I will give credit where its due. Stopped by to get my sunglasses fixed and the staff was amazing! Super friendly and helpful—they got them adjusted perfectly in no time. Definitely coming back here again!

I was visiting out of town and came in to get a pair of glasses repaired. Fran was very understanding and got it fixed super fast. She also gave recommendation for other options and treated me with utmost professionalism. Even though I didn’t come in for an eye exam,I can attest to the great service I received and would recommend this place to anyone.
