Receptionist Kara needs a refresher course on customer service. Everytime I go she will either be sitting at the front desk on her cell phone talking or just looking at the computer with 5 patients standing in line waiting to be acknowledged and check-in. While the other receptionists are helping other people. When she does finally acknowledge us and I step up to the front of the line she will ignore me until another receptionist can take me. I have no idea what her problem is. So obviously customer service is NOT her priority. Yesterday she went out to the lobby and started talking to a patient after being on her cellphone. I have been a patient of West Side Medical for 10 years, but I will never go back. I was never terribly impressed from day one, but it was located close to home and nothing was bad enough to prevent me from going back. I do not frequent the doctors office, but every couple of years something comes up that requires a visit. The last couple of those visits have been horrible. Extremely long wait times (1-2 Hours with an appointment). When you finally do get seen the doctor acts as if you're wasting their time and rush you out the door. I would consider myself to be a patient and understanding individual, so it takes a lot to get me to leave a bad review. The last straw was when I received a bill today after paying cash in full at the time of care (no insurance, self pay). They want more mone

I love their doctors but their customer service has really declined over the past couple years. When you call, the wait time is long. When you go in for an appointment, it takes awhile for anyone at the front desk to acknowledge you. I often hear gossip and other patients' information waiting in the lobby.

This place is horrible. Every time I make an appointment, I still have to wait an hour and a half before I see my actual doctor. I feel like this is ridiculous. I thought we made appointments so that we didn't have to wait forever. And then once I get to see my doctor (Dr. Cassandra Kimball), she rushes through my appointment and I feel like she's not actually trying or wanting to help me or listen to me. I should not feel rushed when I have been waiting an hour and a half to see her!! My last straw was when I made an appointment to receive the Nexplanon and they had me pay my co-payment and wait over an hour just to tell me that they are out and that I will have to make a new appointment. I went in for a prescription refill. Had to do blood test. A week later my dose was to high and needed to be lowered. It took me 3 weeks to get them to send the new prescription to a pharmacy or even to call me back. Now I go in 3 months later to have blood work to see if the lower dose is working. Good God they can't even do that after waiting an hour they tell me now I need to make an appointment. When I called the day before to see if I needed an appointment. So I try to get a appointment with the doctor. Oh he won't be there for 2 weeks. I guess I don't need thyroid medication. This place is running like the white house under Trump. Very poorly run. I left and am currently looking for a real clinic with real doctors. Wow Westside medical should just shut it's doors or improve they way
