Western Mass Endodontics in LongMeadow, MA

We were referred to them by a dentist. He said that my child needed to see a specialist. I called my insurance and also went online on our insurance website to see what endodontist accepts our insurance and it only gave me this place. I called and the woman kept telling me that they don’t accept it. I’m not sure if she was lying. If not then they need to call someone to take themselves off. Thats false information and I had my hopes up to get my daughter seen because she needs it.

Dr. Craig Saltzman and Heather unreliable. Dr. Craig Saltzman charged me $265.00 for an xray and his opinion. He wanted to perform a root canal. Was not sure if it would work. when I explained the strange taste in my mouth, He said I had an infection, but his notes said no infection. He would only treat my infection if I wanted the root canal. He let me leave with the infection. I was treated somewhere else for my infection and had the tooth removed. I demanded a refund to no avail. STAY AWAY!

Dr. Odierna and his staff were wonderful! The anticipation of getting a root canal was much worse than the actual procedure. He explained everything and put me at ease. He has an excellent chair-side manner.

Very smooth process at this office. Entire staff was very nice and accommodating. Dr. Odierna did my root canal, and while it is an uncomfortable process to have done, I did not feel pain, and he continually checked with me to ensure I was doing ok. I don't recommend getting a root canal, but if you need one, this office is great.

Dr. Shapiro is exactly who you’d be looking for if you’re nervous for your first root canal. I was experiencing pain from a prior traumatic dental experience so I called and made an appointment with him after my mother told me about her great experience with him years ago. She was spot on about him. He and his assistant Rachel were absolutely wonderful. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease being an anxious patient and when your reaction when you’re done is “ you’re kidding me, it’s over”, you know you were in expert hands. No question I will request to see him for future procedures if I needed them!
