Westbury Apothecary

Westbury apparently owns "Cedarfield Pharmacy" which is no longer part of Cedarfield Retirement Community. Despite this, they continue to use the name to capture prescriptions sent with an "oops! wrong place!" that delays care and profits them instead of getting medications to patients ASAP. (prescriptions would have to be transferred over which causes delays). This just happened to my father in law who needed pain medications immediately after an ER visit. Henrico Drs sent the Rx to "Cedarfield Pharmacy" that we later find out is NOT affiliated anymore with Cedarfield retirement. Westbury, time to be honest and stop false advertising! Hospital staff take note...do not send scripts to Cedarfield pharmacy for residents of the community.

I have been going to this pharmacy for years, I was actually able to get a vase on my last visit. They serve food. Their breakfast is very popular. You can get your home health items here as well as the usual pharmacy items.

Westbury is a great pharmacy. Unlike the big chains someone there always answers the phone and filling a prescription doesn't take days, just a few hours. I highly recommend them!

This is a very nice pharmacy. They seem to work especially hard at getting prescriptions in as quickly as possible if they don't already stock them but they have all the prescriptions any other pharmacy would have on hand usually. They also sell durable medical equipment. They have a cute little section of gifts and very reasonable prices. They actually have an old-fashioned lunch counter where the food is pretty decent. The staff is always courteous and friendly.

Disappointing . Fathers day is this weekend, so I went in, thinking that such a place would have super cute Father’s Day gifts as this was my experience from most places like this around the country. But, alas, they didn’t. Nothing, except a small shelf of “man” soap and crude message boxers. (Who are the “men” they are catering to?? ) They had FD cards, but here too, the selection was also very lame, limited and disappointing. I won’t return.
