I chose this practice after researching their profile. Dr. Hill & Nurse Brenda spent quality time regarding health assessment. They listen & give feedback. I left my second visit feeling that I chose well in this practice. Very caring & professional family practice! May I also say the front desk is very efficient & kind.

This place is a nightmare. Run the other direction!!! I went in May to the urgent care. I was super sick and struggling to breathe. I called and asked if they took my insurance before I left because I was exhausted and had to take my son with me since I didn't have a sitter. They told me they did. I asked twice and told them I didn't want to get in the car unless they could see me with my insurance. They said they took it. I got there and waited a while. The APRN that saw me Pamela Hart ignored me and focused on my son for most of the visit. She treated me like some bad mom who doesn't take care of her kid and belittled me. I had been sick for days. I have been a patient at West Volusia Family and Sports Medicine for several years. I see Dr Shinn as my primary care physician. I am very comfortable with the care I receive. Being at ease with your Dr is very important to me. I never feel rushed, my appointment time is well kept and the people who work in the office where I go are very polite and friendly.

I was called in to see Dr. Hill in a timely manner, staff all polite and attentive. I was able to talk with him without interruption. He gave me his full attention and did not sit with his back to me on his computer! All questions were answered and prescriptions discussed. A productive and very satisfying visit overall.

Every time , I go to this dr office , whether it’s orange city or Deland office the staff and dr’s are incredible ! Literally not 1 bad experience ! And I go a lot due to some complicated Meficsl issues I have . From the time I walk in through the time I leave it’s nothing short of amazing 🤩. I wish all my drs and office staff treated me the way they do ! They could all take a lesson from them !
