West Side Campus of Care

This is the first time I went to this residence. The front door attendant was smiling and very conversational in a very positive way! The entryway was narrow, but opened up into a very large Beautiful lounge Decorated with pumpkins and lights. The residence smelled very clean and that makes a difference to me! We were visiting my husband’s uncle Danny, and once we entered into the Alzheimers unit, we saw that he was clean, comfortable and well groomed. And I always look at the teeth and uncle Danny had clean white teeth :-)The residence there with uncle Danny seemed very happy and conversational. We met Anna and Rene. And they had no complaint and seem to be happy. The nursing staff was very helpful getting us into an out of of the Alzheimer’s unit. We thanked them for their job well done!

If i could give this place a -10000 i would. If you are thinking of putting a family member or friend in this facility i strongly suggest for you not to. Listen to all the bad reviews because i know for a fact they are %100 true. My dad was placed into this facility after a hospital stay, he had aggressive dementia and needed help doing a lot of things. A lot of things that this facility never helped him do. They neglected him and denied him the basic care that he deserved and it’s absolutely disgusting that the nurses and staff here can even live with them selves at this point. He was here last year for only a few short months and there was multiple instances where i would come in and he would be in his room lights off lying on the ground on a mat in the middle of the day. I was 22 years

My wife and I went to see a friend that had just recently gone to the facility for rehab from a stroke. It was later in the evening and front door was locked but woman at front desk saw us immediately and let us in. She was also very helpful with the sign in process. We were not there long but it seemed quiet and peaceful. The few staff we encountered were very friendly and the place seemed to be well kept

Facility was clean, staff was helpful. I try and commend the staff for their work assisting elderly, I feel doing that most people smile knowing their appreciated and perhaps do a little extra for my family member.

Every google review of this place is from 2 months ago. Thats odd. They are ALL rave reviews. Also odd. Either fake profiles or fake reviews. Guaranteed! I urge ppl to look at the Yelp reviews, caring.com reviews and Indeed reviews for this place. Let me tell you my mother's experience in this "skilled" facility. In just a few short months stay, she has experienced neglect and abuse that resulted in serious injury. Staff have ignored and denied her the most basic of care. Left to fester in soiled and urine soaked briefs and bedding, by staff who just last week were witnessed telling the administrator they refuse to get up and perform hygiene, and transfer her into a chair for a meeting to discuss her care. Why?
