West Isle Urgent Care

On December 23rd, I brought my son to West Isle Urgent Care due to severe ear pain he experienced after our flight from Minnesota. I initially hoped it was just a simple ear pressure issue, but since we were scheduled to embark on a cruise the following day, we needed immediate answers before boarding. The staff created an unwelcoming and uncomfortable atmosphere. Although the doctor was kind, the wait time felt excessive despite us being the only ones in the office. The clinic diagnosed my son with what they claimed was his first ear infection and sent a prescription for antibiotics to Walgreens. After waiting at Walgreens for over half an hour, the pharmacist informed me that they had not received the prescription. I called the clinic again, and they explained there was a "glitch" in

We were on vacation when our toddler hit the back of her head on the coffee table and woke up with a wheezy cough. We found this urgent care and it was an excellent experience. The staff were very nice and wonderful at making our toddler feel comfortable. The doctor was very knowledgeable and took great care of her. Our toddler walked out with a smile despite her injury and not feeling her best.

We are leaving the West Isle Clinic now and just had the best experience we have ever had at an urgent care. Dr. Oakes, Makayla and Natalie were a complete joy to be around. Dr. Oakes went way beyond explaining what needed to be done to correct my issues. We highly recommend this Urgent Care.

I only came here to get my TB Test done. It was a clean facility. It was never crowded whenever I came to get it done and examined. The customer service was fine with me. No one was rude or anything that stood out in a positive or negative manner. I would definitely like to see how well they do someday, one day, if I actually need something more than a test. The TB test was $35 then you have to go back again in 48-72 hours to make sure there are no signs of TB. They give you a paperwork printed as proof of verification. You'll need your driver's license.

Came because my son fell and injured his nose severely. Prompt attention and spent a long time trying to get approval from the insurance to have a CT to rule out concussion to no avail. Did X-rays which confirmed his nose was broken and received stitches. The physician was excellent and reassured both my son and I throughout the hours we spent with them. Everyone was very helpful and supportive. Called me later to check on things and report that another radiologist had reviewed the X-rays and confirmed the fracture. Would certainly return if needed and recommend this facility.
