For the Labor & Delivery department I am giving them a 5 star!! Overall an amazing experience from the moment I was checked in, and once I was discharged. When I noticed my contractions were close together I was able to get in contact with my provider, and she advised me to go ahead and to the hospital to be assessed. Once the nurse confirmed that I was in active labor, they took me to my room (which was extremely clean), I asked to get an epidural as soon as possible, and after an hour I had my son! Dr. Marie was fantastic by her words of encouragement, and with her direction we were able to deliver my baby within 3 pushes. All the nurses & staff there were super helpful, very empathetic, and made my experience memorable. The two L&D nurses I would like to recognize are Francesca & Emily

Dr. Hooper did an amazing job delivering my child. First time having a C section and I was very nervous. His knowledge and presence gave me all the confidence I needed. To Patricia, Emily, Chaka, Robyn and the rest of the staff I forgot to name thank you so much. Thank you again Dr. Hooper I can’t thank you enough!!!!!

Worst hospital ever. My grandma had a surgery about 3 weeks ago now on her esophagus to install a mesh disc to help with her digestion. Since the surgery she has been in and out of the hospital with pain and issues. She was admitted again not even a week after surgery for a few days. She followed up for an endoscopy last week and they said they needed to stretch her esophagus AGAIN because it was so swollen and all her food was getting caught in the mesh they installed. Friday the 27th she went back in because she was feeling dizzy and in pain. She came back to Wellstar because her surgeon who happens to work for Wellstar at this location recommended she come in for iv fluids for dehydration. She checked into the hospital at 4, at 9:30 they tell her that she has two blood clots one in her

Absolutely terrible hospital. This place should be turned into just an outpatient building for private practices to operate out of. My father was admitted on a Saturday morning. He was held in the emergency room on one of the tiny little emergency room beds that are to my knowledge meant for short term use for over 28hrs. MRI results that we were told took 60-90 minutes for have taken 4+hrs. The staff is extremely informative. Wellstar needs to seriously dive into the operations of the facility as it is an absolute joke. Do not bring yourself or your loved ones to this facility.

This hospital is horrifically terrible. I came by ambulance for excruciating back pain that I cannot walk or stand. i immediately was given two medications that didn't even help. They put me in a room with a neck brace on that was so tight I couldn't even breath, my freaking Adam's apple was freaking cutting against it everytime I swallow. I did not need the neck brace whatsoever said another doctor. I was in that room since 8 am to 2pm looking straight up at the ceiling lights while trying to manage my back pain . They had me strapped from my head to toe before someone else came and said I didn't need to be like that. I was crying my eyes out and no one helped me I rang the nurse bell 7 times each times they kept asking whats wrong but never came to my room to check me. I asked for somet
