WellSpan Urgent Care - Shippensburg

This review is only based on my last visit with Rachael Defarias, PA-C. She was empathetic, compassionate, really took the time to listen to me & treated me like a human being she cared for. My previous experiences here were not positive experiences, I felt mocked, treated as I was unintelligent, not worth listening to or that I was wasting their time. I got scoffs, eye rolls, attitude, when I came in for medical care. It was at least 2 different nurse practitioners. I would agree with all the other 1 star reviewers, as I have had similar experiences here. My last doctor really stands out in a good way, I hope Wellspan treats her well & she is here for a long time. It really felt good to have a different experience, thank you so much to Dr Rachael Defarias, she is excellent!

Our nurse and Dr were amazing today. We only had to wait 5 mins to be taken back to the room. They even gave my daughter some cute stickers that made her smile. So glad they were able to help us get better.

I was number two people were so nice. Rachel was one took care of my 10 month old she was informative kind caring n gave good check up. She is a mom n was great with my grandson. Id ask for her anytime.

I am completely speechless about the disrespect that my mother dealt with, with the crnp Emily ! My 73 yr old mother went up after being sick for a week, and when she came in she already had an attitude, but when my mother simply asked for an antibiotic, you would've thought she asked her for her bank info! She looked at her and said "I went to school for 8 yrs for this, I don't appreciate your telling me how to do my job"...are you SERIOUS!!! She was way out of line! This place is a JOKE, and I'm not the only 1 that thinks so! Save yourself the trouble, and go to your PCP.... She needs reported! 😡😡

I never leave reviews, but if I could give this urgent care zero stars I would. I have been to this urgent care numerous times as I am a local but find myself being dismissed, not being taken care of, and just leaving disappointed every time. They do not do anything to make you feel any type of comfort. Their nurses have no bedside manners and do not even bother to introduce themselves, nothing. I constantly have to drive to close cities to go to other urgent cares who do care about taking care of their patients and helping them feel comfortable. I have tried to talk to the customer service numerous times, workers at this urgent care and no one listens. Do not waste your time or your family’s time by coming here. Go somewhere else like Keystone in Chambersburg!
