WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital - West Branch Medical Center

This was my PCP and I was happy here. I had to leave(for a short period of time they stopped affiliation with my insurance) I was thinking of returning but now I am second guessing that decision. My son had lab work drawn on Monday of this week(after running fevers of 102-103 for a week) the lab results were back in the office on tuesday(I know, I called but the PA hadn’t read them yet. Here it is Thursday mid afternoon and the labs STILL have NOT been read. We have called daily and twice today. Still have not been read. He starts work /school in a hospital(in another state) on Monday and does not have any answers or medicine. The concern is Lyme’s disease. But hey, I guess it just isn’t that important to them.

What is the reason behind the new phone system? It's a time consuming, unacceptable system. It has further separated a patient from their pcp health care. We are no longer given the option to directly request appointments, to give or receive info from a nurse, to leave a recording requesting RX refills. We have tried on two different occasions to contact our pcp's office to give INR testing results and get info regarding medication usage for dental work. We are automatically transferred to a general answering service at the hospital. They are so inundated with calls the average wait time is 30 mins. You are given an option to leave your number for a call back, and supposedly hold your place in the que. Yesterday, we never got a call back, today we were finally up to 26th plac

Do not go here. I went here to get blood drawn. The lady that takes blood was just sitting in there doing nothing while people were waiting outside. She had the bed side manner of a wet dish cloth. It was the worst blood draw I have ever had. This woman should be fired.

Dad brought Mom win this facility, she was then sent to a real hospital.. they forgot her clothes, dad went back to pick them up fro west branch medical facility...A day later they handed him a bag Dad brought them home and placed them in mom’s room while she stayed in another hospital in midland for 2 weeks.... found out there were a transfer of bed bugs from west branch medical center..... beware of this place......months later we are paying 💰 to get their house extermination of these nasty creatures ..... Thank you West Branch Medical Center... we should sent you the bill....$2500.00!
