WellNow Urgent Care

I went to the WellNow facility with a UTI. My bladder hurt and I was bleeding a lot. It was very difficult to void. I was lucky that I entered when they weren’t terribly busy, which was great because if you go to the ER it WILL be busy. True, the ER is more appropriate for dome things, but the WellNow center can handle many things. When I got there, they took me right back, which was good and bad. It was good for excellent, prompt attention, but if I had been seated in the waiting room I would have noticed that they have free Pac Man! Anyway, the staff was first rate, and the PA that cared for me was pleasant and knowledgeable. She immediately noticed that I was a medically-trained person and asked about my background, which was nice since I’ve been retired for s long time. Anyway, I would

Able to make appt. In advance. Very efficient ck in at desk. Friendly staff. My brother was seen at appt time. Just a note took family member to er upmc and waited 6 hrs and was mostly ignored. Will definitely use urgent care in the future if needed!

Had a health issue Saturday morning, i had been here before but for work physicals and they identified my Lyme bite and treatment immediately. Way before their new care system was in place. This time was different. With the current massive outbreak of H3N2 Subclade K, we expected to be waiting for hours. We were able to arrange for an appointment time and even monitor weight time online. We showed up on time for my appt, got in 2 minutes later, had a prescription for antibiotics within 15 minutes we were out the door. Everyone was super understanding, personable and attentive the entire visit. We'll never go back to the Warren or Jamestown ER again if this place is open. Incredibly good experience.

Went in with what I thought was a bad cold. They were extremely busy but luckily I made an appointment online before I came in. They were able to still quickly get through the line of people. I ended up having pneumonia and bronchitis. They gave me an X-ray and breathing treatment on the spot along with antibiotics to start because my pharmacy was closed for the night. For as busy as they were, I still felt like they took care of me very well and I was not rushed.

In and out super fast, Erin was very good at diagnosing me and getting me on the right meds quick and was feeling better the next day to my surprise. Super happy she was working on New Year’s Day. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
