CVS Pharmacy

This pharmacy has a very long wait. There doesn't seem to be a good time to avoid Long lines. The most important issue with this pharmacy is receiving your medication before the previous one runs out. Many medications are labeled as extremely dangerous if suddenly stopped, this pharmacy will ensure you do not get these type of medications on time. You'll suffer from seizures, withdrawal and other symptoms due to the negligence. It's been reported to the state pharmacy board and hopefully others have reported the negligence to your insurance company and the state pharmacy board in an effort to prevent further harm to those seeking treatment not suffering.

I think the staff are doing their best, especially with how busy they are. My problem is that I'm not from the area so I often travel just over 3 hours since December to help care for my dying Mother on a rotating schedule all us kids follow for her optimal care. Considering I spent over 15 years working for Hospice, I'm the one taking on most of her care. I have my own health issues along with a diabetic Autistic daughter. Getting our meds on time is extremely important but also difficult. In this weather I can't drive 3.5 hours to get our much needed medication then 3.5 hours back to my mother, so I ask a trusted friend to pick them up but he often goes above and beyond to help us and requires a certain amount of notice, making it even more tedious and difficult. It is a nice choice now that the company is treating their employees more fairly than they have in the past. The overwhelming contrast in the way that the employees tend to be a little happier and a little harder working. I love everyone that works in the pharmacy. Show them patience and they will work with you above and beyond.

I honestly don't think that I care for the new check-in method, punch your info into the kiosk, etc, etc. It just cuts down on human-to-human interaction and we get so few human-to-human interactions as it is if you ask me. I know that it's their way of being more efficient but if I know there's a human at the front of the line, I for one am willing to stand just that much longer.

CVS pharmacy in Jamestown NY provided excellent service and quality care. I was given their full support and they met my complicated Rx needs while traveling. I highly recommend this pharmacy.
