Weill Cornell Internal Medicine Associates (WCIMA)

So far my experience was positive. The facility (new location) is nice--clean, organized. The front desk staff was fine. I was 30mins early and the first nurse sort of criticized me for that. But when they found I was just there for labs, they saw me early & everything else went fine.

I've been very happy going to see Dr. Strauss for a number of years at this Weill Cornell Internal Medicine Associates at 505 East 70th Street, and Dr. Strauss has always been very friendly, and time efficient, and very thorough. The appointments can take a long time to book, since they have many patients, but the nurse for Dr. Strauss is also very good, and can see you on short notice when the doctor is booked up. The doctors are professors at Cornell medical school and all part of Cornell NY Presbyterian hospital which are among the best anywhere. All of your records online you can access from the Cornell connect website. Dr. Strauss will also respond back to any messages online within a very short time. Lab work for routine appointments come back within a few hours. Overall an excellent

Very very rude gas lighting staff, while the residents are great. The phone appointment line staff are horribly rude, and it seems they don't realize they are surveyed. Just escalate beyond and HIGHER than the local office manager supervisor. Everyone has a boss, and also report to patient experience, patient services.

Why do these people never answer the phone? It's pathetic that I have to wait 30 minutes while listening to that crappie evelator music. Pick up your damn phones or hire more people!

AWFUL DR SHREYA VERMA, does not respond to portal messages, messages from my pharmacy, cancelled my last 2 appointments and does not return calls. My medicine that I have been on for the last two years, she will not send the renewal prescription to my pharmacy after 3 requests from the pharmacy and my third phone call to the office, finally after a 17 minute phone call, they confirmed my medication would not be refilled. Do not use this facility or DR SHREYA VERMA.
