Wausau Hospital Center

The nurses were nice but failed to keep my pain under control. A CNA left me alone twice while I was on my feet when I'm a fall risk. Food was okay.

This hospital is fine for something straightforward like a broken leg or something similar and is probably okay for anything that does not involve multiple specialties. It is to be avoided when you have, or think you may have, an issue that will require multiple specialties. There really isn't any co-ordination between the specialties and the patients tend to go adrift. Any interaction with patient advocacy seems to be a waste of time. There is a lot of talk about how much Aspirus cares but very little effective action. My impression is that a lot of people here move on once they have checked their box in the computer system. Like I said, fine for an in and out procedure but I would avoid using this hospital for anything more complicated.

I went here for salmonella back 2020 and the service was great the doctor let me be alone if I wanted to be it’s pretty nice doctor if you ask me

Great hospital! Had an appointment and didn't have to wait at all! Also cery easy to get to.

Very wonderful staff Fantastic Dr's have saved my father a few times.
