Love them and Dr. Herlong! I just started taking my girl here. Our first appointment was for vaccine updates and I also wanted them to look at a new lump on my dog’s jaw. Dr. Herlong expressed her concerns and we decided to remove it. My girl is a very anxious/nervous dog but she did so well with the staff here! They loved her and she loved them! The surgery went great and the removal site is very clean and well done. Finger crossed it comes back benign. Love them so glad I switched!!!

Today was my first visit with Midge and Susie. The entire staff was so helpful and provided outstanding care. After years with another veterinarian, I am glad we made the switch to Dr Herlong and the team at the Elgin office!

Everyone here is so kind. We have a little Cavalier spaniel. Dr. Herlong and Dr. Rundlett are so knowledgeable and kind. They are so helpful. Sandy at the desk is the best!! She gets things done and is so compassionate and kind!

Amazing staff! Big thank you to Dr. Herlong for recommending us to get our sweet Bandit injections for his arthritis. I truly believe that gave us extra time with him. Our sweet, gentle boy passed Jan. 20th and the staff was so caring with us. They even sent us mementos, that I’ll cherish forever🐾 Honestly, I can’t thank them enough.

Wateree Elgin gave our 90lb Labradoodle their "Chill Pack" before his bath. This comes in 3 pouches. #1 900mg of Gaba- which is 3 tablets to take evening before. #2 1-2 hrs before his bath(which is 7-730Am) 900 Gaba plus 5 mg of Melatonin. #3 30 minutes before we drop him off at 7am- .15ml of Ace. I gave our labradoodle #1. He is confused, lethargic and not himself. I will not give him anything else. I think its horrible to put any animal on this "Chill Pack". After researching these are drugs meant for surgery. I trusted this Vet. The fact that you prescribe drugs and tell us they are "Chill Packs" is horrible.
