Washington University Children's After Hours - O'Fallon

The staff was so thorough and helpful. They took great care of us. Danielle the NP, took her time with my daughter and truly wanted to get to the bottom of her symptoms. She was incredibly friendly and had wonderful bedside manner. It was the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend!

I am shocked by the lack of basic medical judgment and compassion shown at this facility. I brought my 7-year-old daughter at 11:05 PM with a high fever and active hallucinations — a potentially serious medical situation — and we were refused care because they claimed there were no spots available. Meanwhile, staff members were standing in the hallway clearly waiting for closing time at 11:30. Turning away a visibly ill child 25 minutes before closing is unacceptable and deeply concerning. This was not a minor complaint visit — this was a sick child needing evaluation. Policies should never override patient safety. This experience raises serious concerns about this clinic’s professionalism, triage practices, and commitment to patient

Do not take your kids here! Especially if Dr Lou is there (who is being reported separately). Our 4 year old was having trouble breathing - coughing and saying his throat hurt. It was 9:40pm… they don’t close until 11:30pm. Not a car in the parking lot, zero patients currently in the building. Dr Lou said didn’t want to see another patient for the night and turned us away! They said they had a patient at 10pm and that’s it. One patient at 10pm - it was 9:40pm - and they close at 11:30pm. Having both MDs and Surgeons in my family, they were floored by this lack of professionalism and care. You shouldn’t trust your kid with someone like this. Care is not something you will find here.

I take my kids here a lot, their primary doctor usually can’t fit them in promptly. They have always been kind, and proactive. I’ve been to a couple urgent cares in the area, and this is my go to place. We typically don’t have to wait long, and love how easy it is to hold a spot online. Thank you @ Washington University 💕

This place is absolutely amazing!!!!! The nurses doctors pray tech everyone are incredibly kind patient and so compassionate. Last night we were there with my daughter who fractured her ankle we were there 3 hours they were so kind keeping my two sons content and helping my daughter keep her mind off the pain and anxiety!!! I appreciate you all so incredibly much!!!!
