I’ve been driving from Chesapeake to Suffolk for about a year now I am always happy with the service and care I’ve received . Dr Wardell is the best and so his staff . The only thing I’m disappointed is that I just found out they have an office in Chesapeake about 10 minutes from my house. ( not a complaint) just found that out when I logged on to do this review. To be honest I’m happy to drive to get a good Dr and staff that cares. Thank you

Every time that I come to my appointments ,the staff is so nice and VERY Professional. I hear them greeting everyone as yes ma'am or yes sir. The one's they know they call by name until they see them on a regular appointment. Dr. Wardell is an Awesome Dr. Hes other staff Mike and Danelle are awesome also.

My son broke his arm in September 2024, and we took him to Wardell Orthopaedics for treatment. While the medical care itself was adequate, the billing experience has been frustrating and deeply disappointing. At the front desk, I explained that I wanted to pay in cash and was told the visit would not exceed $250. I paid that amount in full on the spot. Shortly after, I realized I had my insurance card with me and asked if the payment could be reverted so insurance could be used instead. The receptionist assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem and processed it accordingly. Fast forward about a month, and I receive a bill in the mailed more than $1,100.00—a shocking amount that’s over four times what I was initially quoted. Update: I am revising my 5 stars bc of the front desk staff like so many other reviews. I faxed in an accommodation form that I need for work to get handicap parking and was told it will be $110 for it to be completed and I would have to come and see the PA AGAIN. This girl’s attitude was the absolute worst. I get maybe $35, or something reasonable but that is absolutely insane for a 2 page document. The people at the front desk are absolutely horrendous and lack empathy and professionalism. Do not recommend bc the front office staff is terrible. PA Ratanataya was absolutely wonderful. He listened to my concerns and explained things that had never been told to me about my condition. He was very professional and kind. Thank you!
